We offer 8 censor types: classic TV beep (sine wave, adjustable from 200 to 2000 Hz), radio beep (440Hz), complete silence, volume ducking (reduces to 15%), reverse playback, pitch shift (chipmunk effect), white noise/static, and custom sound upload. Each region can use a different type.

The tool measures the loudness of the speech around each region and renders the beep 10 dB quieter — the same convention TV and radio use so the censor tone never hurts the listener's ears. You can switch auto off and set the level manually (10–100%).

Yes. Upload an MP4 or WebM — the waveform shows its audio track. Mark your regions and export: the picture track is kept without re-encoding (fast and lossless), and the sound is replaced in the marked places.

Click and drag on the waveform to select a region. Regions can be moved as a whole, resized by their edges, nudged 10 ms at a time with the "," and "." keys, or set exactly in the numeric fields. Shortcuts: B marks the start, N the end at the current playback position, Delete removes the selected region.

Yes. Toggle "Preview with censor" and press Play — you'll hear the audio with every replacement before exporting. Each region in the list also has a ▶ button that plays just that fragment censored, with a little surrounding context.

Crossfade adds a smooth fade-in and fade-out at the boundaries of each censored region, preventing harsh clicks. Adjustable from 5 ms to 100 ms; the 20 ms default works well for speech. Region edges also snap to zero crossings of the waveform.

Processing runs in your browser via WebAssembly (FFmpeg). For some formats, the Tembrica server is used when WebAssembly is unavailable. Exports always render from the original file, so even very large files with the lightweight preview keep full output quality.
