Open Delete range and mark what to remove on the timeline — by dragging, or with the Start and End buttons while the video plays — then press Cut. You can mark several pieces; the parts before and after are joined into one file.

It lands exactly. Video is not stored as a row of independent pictures: most frames only describe the difference from earlier ones, and playback can start only at a keyframe — usually one every 1–10 seconds. When the cut falls between keyframes, Original mode re-encodes an H.264 recording only up to the nearest keyframe and copies the rest, which is fast and lossless. HEVC, VP9 and AV1 recordings are re-encoded in full in that case, and High quality, Medium and Smaller file always re-encode the whole clip — so those saves take longer.

Open Split. Equal parts cuts the selection into the number of parts you set, By length cuts it into pieces of the length you choose (say, 0:15 for stories), and At cuts splits it wherever you pressed Split here (the C key). The parts come from the range between the blue handles and are saved to a folder you pick or as one ZIP archive.

Yes. A copied clip from MP4 and MOV is assembled straight from the source file’s bytes, so neither the file size nor the clip length runs into the browser’s memory, and re-encoding runs on your device’s video encoder. A limit remains for rare combinations — re-encoding an AVI, say, or joining long pieces after cuts; then the tool tells you up front how long a clip will fit.

No — this tool trims time: the start, the end and pieces in the middle. The edges of the frame, black bars and the aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1) are changed in Video Cropper.

Trimming adds no watermarks or captions: in Original mode the frames are copied from your file unchanged, and re-encoding rebuilds the same picture. So the mark was already in the video — left by a screen recorder or a service the clip went through before. If you still have the original without it, trim that one. A caption or logo on a finished video is removed by Remove Text from Video, and a mark near the edge of the frame can be cut off in Video Cropper.
