Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Tembrica, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

Tembrica provides hundreds of online tools across many categories. Our service includes:

• Tools for audio, video, images, text, device and health tests, study, and everyday tasks
• Client-side processing in your browser when possible
• Server-side processing for operations that require it

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Tembrica only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Use the service to process files you do not have the rights to modify
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the service

Protecting the service from abuse

We work to keep the service available and reliable for everyone. The following are prohibited: automated or mass account registration; creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-usage limits; using disposable or temporary email addresses; and any attempt to bypass the service’s technical limits or protections. We may, without prior notice, restrict access to, suspend, or block accounts and IP addresses that in our reasonable judgement violate these Terms or put the service or other users at risk. Where your actions cause the service demonstrable harm (including unauthorised load, abuse of paid or resource-intensive features, or attempts to circumvent our protections), we may seek to recover the resulting damages and costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.

AI-Generated Audio & Voice Synthesis

Some Tembrica tools (such as Text-to-Speech) generate audio using AI voice models. You are solely responsible for the text you submit and for any audio you create. You must not use these tools to: impersonate any real person without their explicit consent or create deceptive voice deepfakes; generate or spread false information intended to harm others; or produce unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content. Generated audio is synthetic — do not present it as a genuine recording of a real person without clearly disclosing that it is AI-generated. These conditions also apply under the licenses of the underlying open AI voice models (such as the Open RAIL-M license). If you use voice-cloning tools, you confirm that the cloned voice is your own or that you have documented consent from the voice's owner to use it in this way. You agree to indemnify Tembrica against any claims, losses, or costs arising from your breach of these terms.

Your Files

You keep all rights to the files you upload. Files uploaded for server-side processing are deleted automatically once processing is done. Most tools run in your browser or on our own servers. Some tools pass your content to engaged AI providers in order to deliver the service — the current list of recipients, with their country and the data sent, is published on the AI providers page. Like any website, we collect technical usage data; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Your obligations when uploading content

By uploading a file or text you confirm that you are entitled to do so and that passing its contents to the engaged providers does not infringe anyone else's rights. You undertake not to include other people's personal data in the content you upload, and to minimise your own — including by using the built-in identifier-replacement tools where they are offered. We make reasonable efforts to keep those tools working correctly, but we do not guarantee that every piece of personal data is detected and replaced: what you upload remains your decision. If a third-party claim is brought against us because you breached these obligations, you reimburse our documented losses in accordance with applicable law.

Paid Services

Most tools are free. Some features are paid; what is sold and on what terms is defined by the corresponding offer documents: Tembrica Premium — a one-off purchase for a fixed term (6 or 12 months), with no subscription and no auto-renewal; and tokens — internal credits for selected resource-intensive tools (such as premium AI voices), with the list and prices shown on the tool pages. On tembrica.com, paid purchases are sold by Polar, our Merchant of Record, and the price and full terms are always shown before you pay. The Premium fee pays for the upgraded account status as a whole (higher limits, no ad blocks and the other benefits listed on the pricing page); the status does not change how the tools process your content and is not a guarantee of a particular speed or quality of the result. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Users who previously purchased the lifetime Pro account keep it under the terms of that offer.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are liable for damages in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to consumers by mandatory consumer-protection law, nor excludes our liability where the law does not allow it to be excluded. Output produced by AI-powered tools may contain errors and inaccuracies — verify it before relying on it. File-size limits depend on the tool and are stated on its page.

Accounts and User Content

Most tools work without an account; registration is optional and needed only for some features (paid plans, public profile, ratings and comments, messaging). You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity under your account. Content you post — profile information, comments, ratings, messages — must not be unlawful, misleading, offensive, or infringe anyone's rights; by posting it you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and store it as part of operating the service, and you confirm you have the right to post it. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account at any time in your profile settings, which removes your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Age

You can use the tools without registration at any age. Creating an account requires being at least 13 years old. Paid services must be purchased by a person with the legal capacity required by law, or with the consent of a legal representative.

Governing Law

Tembrica is operated by the sole proprietor named in our legal details. Paid purchases on tembrica.com are sold by Polar Software, Inc. (Delaware, USA) as our Merchant of Record and are subject to Polar's Terms of Service; Polar handles billing, tax and refunds. Nothing here limits the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. The service operator is Farid Zaripov, sole trader (Australia).

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and related policies from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. We are not obliged to notify you individually — it is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated version. If you do not agree with a change, stop using the service.
