No — you can use the tools without registration. An account is only needed for some advanced features, and we always state that clearly on the tool page.
It depends on the tool. Audio tools handle MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, and M4A; video tools work with MP4, WebM, and more; and there are tools for images, PDFs, and text too. Each tool page lists the formats it accepts.
Most tools run in your browser and adapt to your device — they can handle large files, often hundreds of megabytes. A few tools that process on our server have their own limit, shown on the tool's page. If a very large file is slow, splitting it first can help.
Yes! Tembrica is fully responsive and works on any modern browser — desktop, tablet, or mobile. Many tools use in-browser processing, so they work the same way on all devices.
For lossless quality, use WAV or FLAC. For a good balance between quality and file size, MP3 at 320 kbps or AAC at 256 kbps is recommended. OGG Vorbis also offers excellent quality at lower bitrates.
Many of our tools use WebAssembly (FFmpeg WASM) to process audio directly in your browser. These tools run entirely client-side for speed.
