8D audio from your own track — spatial sound in headphones

An online tool that turns an ordinary recording into 8D audio: the sound moves around the listener instead of just hopping from the left earbud to the right one. The movement is computed by a binaural HRTF model — the same one that makes a source seem to be behind you, above you or below you. The path is visible on a 3D scene, and an “Original” button lets you compare the spatial version with the source instantly. Save the result as MP3, WAV, OGG or FLAC.

How to make 8D audio

Put headphones on: without them the effect is inaudible — the left and right channels blend in the air.

Load a song (MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, M4A). The file is read in the browser and playback starts straight away.

Pick a character — Gentle, Classic, Intense or Dreamy — then adjust turn, distance, height, width, room and bass if you want to.
