Chart maker from table data: bar, pie, line

An online tool for charts from data: column, bar, pie, donut, line and scatter charts. Paste a range from Excel or Google Sheets, open a CSV or XLSX file, or simply paste a line from a textbook — the numbers, labels and units are picked out for you. For homework there is a graph-paper mode: the degrees of each slice, a scale of “1 square = …” and a PDF page that prints at actual size.

How to make a chart from data

1
Add the data

Copy a range from Excel into the first cell of the table, open a CSV file or paste a word problem.

2
Pick a type

Columns, pie, line or points; for homework, turn on “For graph paper”.

3
Download a PNG, SVG or PDF

The image can also go to the clipboard, and a link sends the same chart to a classmate or a colleague.

Paste a table or a word problem and the chart appears right away

Examples

Paste a range from Excel or Google Sheets into the first cell and the table fills itself. The first column holds the labels, the others hold series of numbers.

Paste a word problem or CSV

A line from a textbook works too: labels, numbers and the unit are picked out for you.
