Hidden camera search by lens glint
An online tool for finding hidden cameras in a rental, a hotel room or a changing room. A lens sends light back to where it came from, so your phone’s flash makes it glint. The tool blinks the flashlight, compares frames while correcting for hand shake and marks the glints that keep coming back, and the IR view shows a camera’s night-vision light in the dark.
How to use it
Allow camera access. The tool checks right away whether the page can blink the flash and what else your phone can do.
From 1–3 ft (0.3–1 m), pausing on detectors, chargers, clocks and mirrors. Glints that repeat get a circle and go to “Finds”.
Most often it is a screw or a watch glass. If it is a lens, don’t touch the device — photograph it and tell the host or the police.
