Minesweeper Online: Classic Game and No-Guess Mode

An online version of the classic mine puzzle with the three standard levels, custom boards and a mode in which every field can be solved by reasoning alone. The game explains itself: a hint shows which numbers prove a cell, and after a loss you see whether it was a mistake or a guess nobody could avoid. It plays with a mouse, a keyboard or a finger on a phone, including on the whole screen.

How to play Minesweeper

1
Open a cell

Click or tap any cell. The first one is never a mine and always opens an area.

2
Read the numbers

A number says how many mines touch that cell, diagonals included. An empty cell has none around it.

3
Flag the mines

Right-click or hold a cell to put a flag where a mine must be. Flags are your notes: the game does not require them.

4
Open around a number

When a number already has that many flags next to it, click or tap the number to open the rest of its neighbors at once.

5
Clear the field

You win when every cell without a mine is open. If you are stuck, ask for a hint and look at the proof.

Clear the field by logic: every board can be solved without a single guess
