Music Video from Multiple Clips and One Song

That is the “Length” control above the build button, and “Fit the song” is the default — the montage then fills the whole track, down to the last beat. “Fit the footage” does the opposite: the video runs until the clips run out and the song repeats if it is shorter. “Custom” takes an exact length in minutes and seconds. The figure next to it shows what you are about to get, before anything is rendered.

Up to 12 short clips per video. Processing runs in your browser, so speed depends on your device — use fewer clips for longer footage.

By default the clip audio is muted and only your uploaded song plays. For an individual clip you can keep its original audio — the music then automatically ducks under it for that part.

The tool detects the song's tempo and places clip cuts on the beat. You can choose the frequency: every beat, every bar or every two bars.

The finished video is saved as MP4 (H.264) — it plays in any modern player, on YouTube, in messengers and on social media.

It listens to the song. The tempo is detected automatically and the cuts are placed on the beat, so the change of shot lands with the music instead of drifting a fraction late the way hand-placed cuts do. You bring up to twelve short clips and one track; the clips arrive muted so the song is the only thing you hear, and the order you dropped them in is the order they play.
