Which width should I pick?

1920 px suits a laptop screen and most websites, 1280 px is for images sent by email or in a chat, and 3840 px is for print and 4K video. The height follows the slide format: a 16:9 slide at 1920 px is 1080 px tall, a 4:3 one is 1440 px.

Why is a JPG smaller than a PNG?

JPG compresses the picture with slight losses — invisible on photos and screens, and the file is several times lighter. PNG keeps every pixel as is: thin text and lines stay perfectly crisp, but the file is heavier. For slides with small text, and for editing, choose PNG.

How do I get an image of just one slide?

Click "Clear selection," then click the thumbnail of the slide you want — it alone downloads, straight as a file, with no archive.

Will animations be visible?

The image shows the slide in its final state — with every object that appears during the animation. Transitions between slides don't show up in an image.
