Frequently asked questions

How do I overlay a video on another video?

Upload the main video and the overlay clip, drag the overlay where you want it on the preview, optionally remove its background with chroma key or AI — then press "Export video". The finished clip downloads as a single MP4 or WebM file.

Do I need a green screen?

No. The "AI person" mode detects and cuts out a person on any background with a neural network. Chroma key is for when the background is a solid color (green, blue or anything else — pick it with the eyedropper) and you want the cleanest edges.

How do I add a rain, snow or fire effect?

Load an effect clip with a black background, switch the fitting to "Fill" and choose the Screen blend mode — black disappears and only the effect remains. Tick "Loop" and a short clip will cover the whole video.

Which formats are supported?

Input: anything your browser can play — MP4, WebM, MOV and more. Output: MP4 (H.264 + AAC) or WebM (VP9), up to 4K with no forced downscaling.

Will there be a watermark on my video?

No. The tool adds no watermark and does not limit the export length — the resulting file is fully yours.

How long will the result be?

The result matches the main video. A shorter overlay plays once or loops — your choice; a longer one is trimmed. The ⇄ button instantly swaps the two videos.
