FAQ

Does word-start bolding make me read faster?

Independent studies have not found a reliable speed or comprehension boost from bolding word starts; some readers still find it helps with focus or line tracking. Treat it as one option among many — the effect is individual.

Which font is best for dyslexia?

There is no single best font; research suggests generous letter, word and line spacing helps more than any specific typeface. Try OpenDyslexic, Lexend or Atkinson Hyperlegible with wider spacing and keep what feels easiest.

What is the Russian stem mode?

Instead of bolding a fixed number of letters, it bolds the stem (root) of each Russian word and leaves the ending light, which fits Russian morphology better than letter-count bolding.

Can I open files?

Yes — TXT, Markdown, DOCX and EPUB are read in your browser, and you can export the styled result as HTML. PDFs with complex layouts are not supported.
