Live airplane tracker
A free flight tracker that shows the planes in the sky right now on a live, moving map. Each aircraft is drawn where it actually is, turned to its real heading and coloured by altitude, so you can watch air traffic flow over your city in real time. Click any plane for its callsign, airline, aircraft type, altitude, speed and climb rate — or type a flight number like BA492 to find that flight and follow it along its route.
How to use the flight tracker
The map loads with the aircraft currently flying over a busy area near you. Drag to pan and scroll or pinch to zoom into your region.
Click or tap any aircraft to see its flight number, airline, aircraft type, altitude, speed and whether it is climbing or descending.
Type a flight number or callsign — like BA492 or LH401 — and press Find. The map flies to that aircraft and follows it along its path.
Use “Near me” to centre on your location, turn on ground aircraft, or go fullscreen to watch the traffic on a bigger screen.
Watch planes fly across a live map and find any flight by number
This map shows aircraft that are airborne right now, broadcast over open ADS-B networks. Flights that have not taken off yet, have already landed, or fly where there are no nearby receivers may not appear. Positions update every few seconds.
