URLs from other origins usually fail under CORS for html2canvas. Inline blocks always work.

Web fonts (Google Fonts, fontsource) work if the source allows cross-origin font loads. Otherwise system fonts are used.

Will text be selectable?

No. html2pdf renders via html2canvas, so the output is image-based. For selectable text from a webpage, use your browser's "Print → Save as PDF" instead.
