Flight delay and cancellation compensation

A tool for working out compensation for a delayed or canceled flight and for denied boarding. It applies the rules of ten jurisdictions — the European Union, the United Kingdom, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, the United States, Canada, Brazil, South Korea and Indonesia — and then builds a ready-to-send claim letter. We take no percentage of what you recover.

1

Enter the departure airport and the final destination — with a connection on one booking, that is the final airport, not the one you were stranded at.

2

Pick the airline: the carrier's country decides which rules cover the flight.

3

Say what happened and how many hours late you reached your destination.

4

Get the amount, the list of what you are owed right now, what to collect as evidence, and a ready-to-send claim letter.

Route

first departure to final destination

Flying with a connection on one booking? Enter your FINAL airport, not the one you were stuck at. Distance is measured across the whole route, and it decides the amount.

What happened

Not sure how late you were?

What counts is arriving late at your final destination: when the aircraft was scheduled to land and when it actually landed. A late departure does not count — the law ignores it.

Do not know the reason? Leave it as is. Proving that circumstances were extraordinary is the airline's job, not yours, and "unknown" does not cost you the right to be paid.

Enter the departure and final destination airports — the distance between them decides the amount.

This is a reference calculation, not legal advice. Rules and amounts were checked on 5 September 2026; the outcome of any particular dispute depends on documents and case law.
