Night Vision Online Through Your Camera

An online tool for night vision through the ordinary camera of a phone or laptop. It amplifies the faint light the camera does catch: it stacks frames, removes noise and lifts brightness right in the live picture, and it brightens dark photos and videos from a file with the same engine. In total darkness a camera sees nothing — it needs at least a little light: the moon, a yard lamp, a window.

How to use night vision

1
Turn on the camera

Press “Turn on the camera” and allow access. On a phone the main camera is usually best, and it opens full screen like the phone’s own camera — the cross in the corner takes you back to the page. If the front camera shows a TV remote’s light, it sees IR illumination.

2
Hold the phone as you like

Frame stacking is set to “Auto”: the page watches how the camera moves and stacks fewer frames in the hand and more when the phone rests. You can also set the level yourself under “Picture”; the badge in the corner shows how many frames are in the picture now.

3
Choose a look

Color, green, white, black and white or red. The compare icon on the picture shows side by side what the camera saw without processing.

4
Shoot

A photo, a night photo of a few seconds, or a video. Photos and videos stay in this browser until you delete them — download them one by one or all at once.
