Family safe word and caller voice check
An online tool against "relative in trouble" phone calls. It sets up a family safe word — fixed, or rotating every five minutes — keeps the call-back rule and a set of questions a voice clone cannot answer within reach, and compares a voice from a recording, a microphone or a call in a browser tab against a saved voice fingerprint. Everything here is free and uncapped: people open this page in the minute someone is being defrauded on the phone, and a daily counter there would be complicity, not a funnel.
How to use it
Fixed — generate it, tell your family in person and print the card. Rotating — create a circle and let them scan the QR code.
Record 15–30 seconds of ordinary speech from each relative and add the number you will call back on.
Ask for the word, ask an open question, and turn on voice comparison if you want it. If the voice does not match — hang up and call back yourself.
Check who is really calling while the call is still on
☎️ Works every time, no technology needed
- Hang up. A real emergency survives five minutes. A scammer does not — which is exactly why the pressure is there.
- Dial it yourself — the number from your own contacts, never the one that called you.
- No answer? Ask someone else. Call a second relative before you do anything with money.
🔑Ask for the safe word
No safe word yet — it will not help on this call, because a safe word is agreed in advance. But ten minutes after you hang up are worth it so that this call never works again.
❓Ask something that is not on the internet
No yes-or-no questions — those get guessed correctly half the time. And never offer the answer: "Was that at grandma's place in Leeds?" already gives it away.
🚨 How the script gives itself away
- Urgency. "It has to be now", "in an hour it will be too late". A real emergency can wait five minutes for a call back.
- A ban on telling anyone. "Do not tell mum", "it is part of the investigation". A real relative does not ask you to hide trouble from the family.
- The speaker changes. It starts as your son and continues as a detective or a doctor. That is a script, not a life.
- "Do not hang up." While you are on the line you cannot call back and check. That is the entire point of the request.
🎧Listen to the voice
Nothing to compare against: first save the voice of the person the caller claims to be.
What the recording shows
These are observations, not evidence: each has an innocent explanation — a phone line, a messenger, a noise suppressor. On its own, none of them proves anything.
🚩Pressure phrases
🔑Family safe word
- Do not invent it yourself. People pick the cat's name, a childhood street or a wedding year — all of which either sit on social media or can be talked out of you in two minutes.
- Say the word in person, not in a chat. Once is enough: it has to be remembered, not stored on a phone.
A fixed word can be talked out of you: "bank security" asks an elderly person to "state the family password for verification", and the secret is dead while the family never learns it. A rotating word survives that: it is new every five minutes and identical on every device in the circle.
Have your relative point a phone camera at this code — the same page opens and their word starts matching yours. Show the code in person: whoever scans it is in the circle.
- Someone calls asking for money — ask for this word.
- They cannot say it — hang up and call back yourself.
- Never say the word on the phone or in a chat.
👪Voices of your family
Record 15–30 seconds of ordinary speech from each person you trust, and add the number you will call back on. What is saved is a fingerprint of the voice, not the recording: it is enough to compare with, not to play back.
No voices saved yet. Without a reference there is nothing to compare against.
Fingerprints and numbers are kept in this device's storage.
📤Move this to another device
The tool protects a family, not one phone. Export the kit and open the file on your relative's device: the safe word, the voice fingerprints and the numbers arrive there too.
