Race Timer Online: Lanes and Mass Starts

An online tool for timing a race instead of a handful of stopwatches and a paper results sheet: a start signal, a finish for every lane or a mass start, places, gaps and grades against standards. Built for PE classes, school meets and running practice.

How to use

1
Set up the race

Choose lanes or a mass start and paste the list of participants — names go onto the lanes, and a long list is split into heats.

2
Give the start

A 3-2-1 countdown, starter commands, or a start on someone else's flag. The clock starts at the signal, not at the press.

3
Mark the finishes and take the results

A lane tile, its number key or the Finish button. Places, gaps and grades are worked out for you — export a PDF or CSV.

Time a whole race on one screen: start on the signal, finish with a tap
