Beep test and Cooper test online: audio cues and fitness norms

An online tool that replaces the shuttle run audio CD: the 20 m beep test, the 15 m PACER for shorter gyms, the Léger test with one-minute stages, and the 12-minute Cooper test. During the run, the teacher marks misses by tapping a tile, and at the end gets a report with VO2max and a rating against age-based norms.

How to use

1
Mark the distance and pick a test

Two lines 20 or 15 meters apart for the shuttle run, or a lap of known length for the Cooper test.

2
Enter the class

Names one per line, optionally with age and sex — they’re needed for norm-based ratings.

3
Press “Start” and mark

After three countdown beeps, tap the tile of anyone who didn’t reach the line, or of anyone who completed a lap in the Cooper test.

Run the test for the whole class from one screen

No one on the list

Add runners under “Participants” — during the run, tapping a tile marks a miss. Without a list, the test runs as plain audio cues.
