A normal prompter moves the text at a constant number of pixels per second. But a dense paragraph fits about three times more words into the same height than a short line does, so the real reading pace swings: measured with the dial at 150 words per minute, lines went past at anywhere from 36 to 288. Here the speed is recomputed from the number of words on each line, so the pace you set is the pace you get in dense paragraphs and short lines alike.

Nothing breaks. Voice tracking matches what you said against the whole script rather than only the next few words: while you improvise the prompter holds still and waits, and picks up again when you return to the text. Jumping back to an earlier line works too — the prompter scrolls back.

Yes. Turn on "Record on camera" in the settings: the script runs over the camera image and recording starts together with the scroll. The take is saved as a file named after your script. Recording continues for a few seconds after the text ends so the last sentence is not cut off.
