Electric Guitar Online with an Amp and Pedals

An online tool for playing electric guitar through pedals and a tube amp, with 19 rock genres, a clean tone and a band that plays along. The strings are calculated rather than sampled, so bends and vibrato sound like a real guitar.

How to play electric guitar online

1

Pick a genre — the guitar, pedals and amp are set up for it.

2

Play the strings and the chord buttons; drag a string to bend it.

3

Start the band, record a take and download it.

Genre — the whole rig at once

Classic rock

A British 1960s tube amp on the edge of breakup, a guitar with two humbuckers, a 4×12 cabinet with vintage speakers. Power chords and the pentatonic.

Press a string at a fret to play a note. Drag across the string to bend, along it to slide. Arrow keys move a cursor over the neck, Enter plays the note under it.

The same chain works with a real guitar: connect it through an audio interface or a guitar USB cable, pick the input and play through any genre. A laptop microphone works too, only worse.

Listen in wired headphones: from speakers the sound comes back into the microphone and howls, and Bluetooth adds tens of milliseconds of delay.
