Piano course for beginners
An online course for people sitting down at the keys for the first time: from posture and key names to reading notes in the treble and bass clef, playing with both hands, chords and your first pieces. You play, and the course sees which key you pressed and whether you landed on the beat — on the on-screen keyboard, your computer keys, a MIDI keyboard or a real piano through the microphone.
How to take the course
3 stepsThe on-screen keyboard, your computer keys or a USB MIDI keyboard all work; an acoustic piano is heard through the microphone.
A lesson is 8–12 minutes: a little theory, then you play. The course marks every note.
Fifteen minutes a day plus scheduled “Review” beat long, rare sessions.
