Singing lessons for beginners

An online course for learning to sing from scratch: voice training in 8 stages, from breath support and your first steady note to a whole melody recorded and reviewed. While you sing, the course listens through the microphone and shows your voice as a line over the target note, with the error in cents. Every exercise is placed inside your own comfortable range, so the vocal lessons fit low and high voices alike.

How the course works

3 steps
1
Allow the microphone

Use a phone or a laptop in a quiet room, about 30–50 cm from the microphone.

2
Measure your range

Sing a comfortable low note and a comfortable high one — the course builds every exercise around them.

3
Practice a little every day

A lesson takes 8–14 minutes. Short daily sessions train the ear–voice link faster than long, rare ones.

Stage 1

Voice and breath

Understand how the voice works, find your comfortable range and learn the breath that carries a note.

Stage 2

A steady tone and hitting the note

Hear a note and land on it, hold it without wobbling, move between notes by sliding and by steps.

Stage 3

Range and registers

Know your chest and head voice, cross the break without cracking and widen the range without forcing.

Stage 4

Intervals, scales and ear

Sing scale degrees, recognize intervals by ear and hear major from minor.

Stage 5

Articulation and diction

Clear vowels, quick consonants and a free jaw and tongue — words that carry without spoiling the note.

Stage 6

Rhythm and phrasing

Sing in time with the beat, hold notes for their full length and shape a phrase on one breath.

Stage 7

A whole song

Learn melodies phrase by phrase and sing them whole — on public-domain tunes everyone knows.

Stage 8

Recording your take and reviewing it

Record yourself, listen like a teacher and build a daily routine that keeps your voice growing.
