Frequently Asked Questions

Do viewers need to install or register anything?

No. Viewers open the link in any modern browser — phone or computer — and tap "Watch". No accounts on either side.

Is my camera used?

Never. The tool requests only screen capture, and the microphone only if you switch it on yourself. There is no camera code on the page at all.

Is the stream recorded?

The tool has no recording feature; the video is transmitted live, directly from your browser to each viewer over an encrypted WebRTC connection. Anonymous reliability events (session start, errors) are logged — see the Privacy Policy. As in any video call, a viewer can still record their own device.

How many people can watch?

Up to 6 at once. Each viewer receives a separate direct stream from your computer, so the practical limit is your upload bandwidth — roughly 2 Mbps per viewer for a sharp picture.

Can I share sound?

Yes, two ways: your microphone voice, and tab audio when you share a browser tab in Chrome or Edge. On Windows, full system audio is also available when sharing the entire screen.

Can I present from a phone?

No — mobile browsers do not allow screen capture, so the presenter needs a desktop browser. Watching on a phone works fine.

Why can't a viewer connect?

The stream is a direct browser-to-browser connection without a relay server. On some strict corporate or mobile-carrier networks a direct path cannot be established — try another network or a phone hotspot.

Can I show my screen on a TV or projector?

Yes. On a TV with a built-in browser — or a projector or set-top box with one — open this site, go to the tool and enter the room code; your computer screen appears on the big screen. It works best when both devices are on the same Wi-Fi. Then press "Fullscreen" to fill the TV.

Will it work on any Smart TV?

You need a TV with a web browser — Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV / Google TV, Fire TV and similar. Older or very weak TV browsers may stutter or fail to play the stream; in that case use a media stick, a laptop connected to the TV over HDMI, or watch on a tablet. A TV with no browser cannot receive the stream.

What happens when I close the tab?

The stream ends immediately for everyone and the room code stops working. If you reload by accident, the page offers to resume the same room for 10 minutes.
