AI Course for Beginners

An online course for people just starting with artificial intelligence: how neural networks work, how to write requests, check facts, make pictures, songs and videos, and not fall for deepfakes. Eight stages with exercises, exams and spaced review of mistakes; the first lessons are open to everyone.

How the course works

3 steps
1
Start with stage one

The first four lessons are open: what AI can do, how it writes text, why it makes mistakes, and the stage exam.

2
Do, don’t just read

In lessons you build requests from pieces, hunt for made-up facts in answers, compare “before” and “after” and try the site’s tools.

3
Pass the stage exam

Each stage ends with an exam with an 80% pass mark; mistakes come back in “Review” after 1, 3, 7, 14 and 30 days.

Stage 1

How AI works — without the magic

Understand what AI really does, where it is strong and why it gets things wrong.

Stage 2

How to ask for text

Set a task so the answer is useful the first time — and polish it with follow-ups.

Stage 3

Fact-checking and “hallucinations”

Tell a confident tone from a verified fact and check answers in a few minutes.

Stage 4

Images

Describe a picture so you get what you imagined — and use generation honestly.

Stage 5

Voice and music

Voice texts, make songs from a description and treat people’s voices with care.

Stage 6

Video

Describe a video scene, build a clip from parts and show generated content honestly.

Stage 7

Work and study

Speed up routine — letters, résumés, notes, spreadsheets — and stay honest.

Stage 8

Safety

Recognize deepfakes and scams, protect your data and check who made a piece of content.
