Tembrica is a platform of online tools that handles everyday work tasks right in the browser. Turning a meeting recording into text, compressing a video for social media, generating a QR code for packaging, checking a site’s certificate before a release, calculating components for a board — for each of these tasks we already have a ready-made tool. No installation, no rollout, no training: open the link, get the result.
Who we are
We are the Tembrica team. We build a catalogue of 600+ online tools for working with audio, video, images, documents, codes and calculations. The project started as an audio editor and grew into a universal work platform: today it’s used by content studios and podcasters, teachers and schools, engineers and IT specialists, marketers and everyday office teams.
Our principle is removing unnecessary steps. Most tools run right in the browser on WebAssembly: processing starts immediately, powered by your own device, so even heavy files don’t wait in a queue. A tool opens like a regular web page on Windows, macOS, Linux, a tablet or a phone.
What we can do
Audio & video
Conversion and compression, trimming and joining, subtitles, transcribing recordings to text, enhancing sound and picture.
Documents & files
Format converter, PDF compression, text recognition from scans, working with archives and data.
Marketing & visuals
QR codes for packaging and storefronts, image processing and compression, covers and previews for social media.
IT & diagnostics
SSL certificate and DNS checks, network tests, monitor, camera and microphone tests for workplaces.
Engineering & calculators
Electronics calculators, 3D-printing helpers, projector setup, unit converters.
People & accessibility
Hearing and vision tests, skill trainers, accessibility tools — from contrast checks to communication boards.
What it looks like in practice
A content studio. A live recording gets transcribed into text for an article, clips are cut from a long video, subtitles are added, and the final material is compressed to each platform’s requirements. The whole chain — with tools from one catalogue.
An online school. A teacher checks the microphone and camera before a webinar, lesson recordings become notes, handouts get QR codes with links.
An engineering office. Voltage divider calculations, SMD component marking decoding, 3D printer calibration, checking a test rig’s TLS certificate — without a zoo of desktop software.
A distributed team. The interface is translated into 9 languages: the same tool link works the same way for colleagues in different countries and time zones.
Why teams like working with us
- Zero rollout. Tools open in the browser on any system — no installation, no admin rights, no long approvals.
- Speed. Most operations run through WebAssembly right in the browser — results arrive at the speed of your device, not of a job queue.
- One standard. Every page is built the same way: instructions, the tool itself, answers to questions. A new team member finds their way around in a minute.
- Living development. The catalogue grows constantly, and a notable part of it appeared through user requests: people write to us about a task — we build the tool.
Need a tool we don’t have yet?
Describe the process that eats your team’s time: what files or data come in, what needs to happen to them, what should come out. We’ll check whether an existing tool already solves it — and if not, we’ll discuss building one for you. A significant part of the Tembrica catalogue appeared exactly this way: from real tasks of real teams.
