PDF margin crop with crisp vectors

An online tool to crop the margins of a PDF. Type margin values in millimeters, inches, or points; let the auto-detect button find the bounding box of actual ink; or use 5/10/20 mm presets. The crop is non-destructive — we set the CropBox without throwing away anything outside, so vector text stays sharp at any zoom and the original page survives if someone re-opens the result. Live preview shows the kept area as a dashed rectangle over the first page.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No — no account, no limits.

Is the crop destructive?

No. We change the CropBox only — the MediaBox keeps the full original page. Re-openers see the trim, power users can revert via Acrobat's document settings.

Does text stay selectable?

Yes. We don't rasterize. Vector text, vector graphics, embedded fonts — all preserved.

How does auto-detect work?

We render the first page, scan the pixels for any non-white content, and find the tightest bounding box around that ink. Adds ~6 pt of safety padding.

Can I crop pages differently?

Apply runs once per click with one margin set. Run it twice with different scope each time (e.g. "1-3" then "4-end") to get per-section cropping.

Password-protected PDF?

Not directly. Remove the password first via the Unlock tool.

Mobile?

Yes. Pick a PDF, type margins, download.
