Do I need an account?

No — no account and no watermark on the result.

Will text be selectable?

No. We render the document to images. For selectable text, use Microsoft Word's built-in "Save as PDF" command instead.

Headers, footers, page numbers?

Mammoth.js drops Word headers and footers in the conversion. The PDF will not have them. For exact-fidelity export, use Word's "Save as PDF".

Track changes / comments?

Stripped during conversion. The PDF contains the document body only.

Old .doc files?

No. Only the modern .docx format is supported. Save the .doc as .docx in Word first.

How big can the file be?

Anything that fits in your device's memory.

Mobile?
