E-invoice viewer and validator: XRechnung, ZUGFeRD, Peppol, DANFE

An online tool for opening and checking electronic invoices: drop an XML, a ZUGFeRD or Factur-X PDF, a ZIP or an e-mail, and it shows the invoice as a readable document, says whether it is a valid e-invoice and explains every failed rule in plain words. The check runs the XML schema and the official EN 16931, XRechnung and Peppol rule sets in your browser; Brazilian NF-e get a DANFE, Saudi QR codes are decoded, Russian UPD files get a print form. You can also issue an XRechnung, a ZUGFeRD PDF or a Peppol invoice and check it before sending.

How to open and check an e-invoice

1
Drop the file

XML, PDF, ZIP or .eml — or paste the XML or a QR text. Several files at once make a list.

2
Read the answer

The top line says what the file is and whether it is a valid e-invoice; the reasons are listed under it.

3
Look at the findings

Each failed rule is explained in plain words; “Show in invoice” highlights the field it is about.

4
Save what you need

Download a PDF to read and archive (the original XML is attached inside), the XML itself, or — for a batch — a ZIP and CSV files.

The invoice will appear here: what it is, whether it is valid and why.

The tool prepares and checks files. It does not send them to Peppol, the French portal, SEFAZ, ZATCA or an EDI operator, does not create NF-e and does not sign.
