Why here

The PDF is built from the same reading of the file that was checked against PowerPoint itself on about a hundred and fifty slides: line spacing, line breaks and theme colors match the original.

FAQ

Will the text in the PDF be selectable?

Yes. A slide isn't turned into a picture: its text is written into the PDF as text with an embedded font, so you can select it, copy it and find it with search. Only the photos that were pictures on the slide stay pictures.

What happens to animations and transitions?

A PDF has none — each slide lands on its page in its final state, with every object that appears during the animation. A slide that builds step by step in the slide show becomes one complete page.

The deck uses a font I don't have. What happens?

Office fonts (Calibri, Arial, Times New Roman, Cambria, Courier New) are replaced with metric-compatible twins of the same width, so the lines fall as they do in PowerPoint. Any other font gets the closest-looking stand-in, and the page names the swap before you download. If the exact typeface matters, save the PDF from PowerPoint on a computer that has the font.

Will an old .ppt file open?

The browser reads .pptx — the PowerPoint 2007 and newer format. Open an old binary .ppt in PowerPoint and save it as .pptx; with Premium, such a file is converted to .pptx on our server and lands here on its own.

Do speaker notes go into the PDF?

No — the PDF repeats the slides themselves. The notes stay in the .pptx file, where PowerPoint and Presenter View show them.
