Frequently asked questions

Can I get the whole PDF as one image instead of a ZIP?

Yes. Choose “One image” above the button: the selected pages are stacked into one tall picture (or placed in a grid or a row) with the spacing and background you pick. “Remove white margins” joins them edge to edge, like a long screenshot.

How many pages fit into one JPG?

A JPG cannot be taller than 65,500 pixels — beyond that most programs refuse to open it. At 150 DPI that is about 37 A4 pages in a column. When the result would be taller, the tool says so before converting and offers a lower resolution or more columns.

What's the difference between 72 and 300 DPI?

72 DPI is screen-resolution (small files, good for previews). 300 DPI matches print quality (4x bigger files, sharper text and lines). Pick 150 for a balance — the note under the settings shows how large the text will come out.

When should I use PNG vs JPG?

PNG keeps every pixel without lossy compression — best for documents with sharp text. JPG is smaller (often 5-10x) and visually identical for photo-heavy pages.

What about WebP?

WebP gives the best size-to-quality ratio of the three. All modern browsers display it; some older image viewers don't. A WebP image cannot be larger than 16,383 pixels on a side, so a long one-image result needs JPG or PNG.
