What sets this stamp maker apart

Layout from your details, not by hand
The full name wraps around the ring and shrinks when it is long; a short one is tracked out so it does not huddle at the top. The second ring, the center and the city fall into place by rule.
Braid, guilloche and microtext
The edge can carry a braid, rope, guilloche, plait, net, Greek key or a dozen other patterns; the rings under the text and a security mesh in the center are chosen separately. The pattern stays vector in SVG and PDF.
Millimeter sizes in every format
Round 30–50 mm, oval 35×50, rectangles 47×18 and 70×25, triangle 40 — or your own. A PNG at 300, 600 or 1200 dpi comes out at exactly the size you set.
SVG and PDF with text as outlines
Letters become paths from the same fonts the screen used. The workshop opens the file without a single substituted font and cuts the die from it.
A real impression, not clip-art
Uneven pressure, patchy ink, paper grain, ink spread, a slight tilt and smear make it look hand-stamped, and it is baked into the PNG and the PDF.

Questions about stamps

Which file do I send to have a physical stamp made?

SVG or PDF with "Text as outlines" on and realism at zero. Such a file carries the size in millimeters and the letters as paths, so the workshop cannot substitute a font or redraw anything. A PNG is not suitable for a die: it is dots, not lines.

How do I make a seal with a braided border or a security mesh?

In Border, pick the pattern for the edge: braid, rope, guilloche, plait, net or another. Its width, density and stroke weight are adjustable, and the same section adds microtext around the edge and the rings under the text. The security mesh in the center is under Look: a rosette, waves or a lattice, and it stays clear of the text.

Why does the PDF become an image when the impression is on?

Uneven ink and chipped edges are pixels — there is no such thing as a vector blotch. So with realism above zero the PDF embeds a 600-dpi image; at zero it is built from lines and letter outlines.

How do I put the stamp on an invoice or contract in PDF?

The "Put it on a PDF" action hands the impression to the PDF signing tool, where you drag it onto any page and save the document. For Word or Google Docs use "Copy", or paste the downloaded transparent PNG.

The company name does not fit around the ring — what now?

The maker shrinks ring text down to 1.5 mm by itself, but a very long name on a 38 mm die gets small. A larger diameter (42–45 mm), capitals switched off, an abbreviated legal form in the ring, or moving part of the details to the second ring all help. Ring and center sizes are adjusted under "Fine tuning".

What goes on a corporate seal?

Common practice in the US and Canada is the exact corporate name around the ring, the state or province and the year of incorporation inside, and the words CORPORATE SEAL in the middle; a UK company seal carries the registered name and company number. A notary stamp shows the notary's name, "Notary Public", the state and the commission number with its expiry — the exact requirements are set by each state's Secretary of State. Government emblems are never part of a private seal, which is why none are offered here.

Can I use my company's brand font?

Yes: upload a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file, or pick a font installed on this computer (Chromium-based browsers). The chosen font is used in the preview and the PNG and goes into the SVG and PDF outlines. If the font lacks the letters your text needs, the maker warns you before the export.
