Aligner tracker: how much out-time you have left today

The tool counts not how many hours you have already worn your aligners but how much out-time you have left today. The difference matters: “worn 19 of 22 hours” is a report on the past, while “40 minutes left” is a decision right now. One “out / in” button, a countdown of the budget, a tray counter with the date of the next change, the week in bars, and after-the-fact editing for the presses you forgot.

How to use it

1

Set your goal in hours — the one your orthodontist gave you, not “what everyone has”.

2

Enter how many days a tray lasts and its current number.

3

Press “Taken out” before eating and “Put back in” afterwards — the counter does the rest.

4

If you forgot to press, fix the interval: that is a normal part of record-keeping, not cheating.

5

Before an appointment, copy the summary — it is shorter and more accurate than “I think I wore them properly”.

Your plan

Orthodontists usually say 20–22 hours. Set your own number rather than “what everyone has”: a goal you cannot meet turns the tracker into a reproach and gets it abandoned.

Worn today:

This week

Each bar is how long the aligners were out that day. Red means over your budget.

Today’s removals

You have not taken the aligners out today.

This is time keeping, not medical supervision. Hours you miss are not made up by wearing the next tray longer: teeth move while the tray sits tightly on them, not “in total over the week”. If a tray stops seating fully, do not move on to the next one — see your orthodontist.

Fix an interval

Enter when you actually took them out and put them back. Editing after the fact is a normal part of tracking: without it one forgotten press ruins a week of statistics.
