Can I use a still photo, or only a video?

Both. Still photos are animated with Ken Burns motion (zoom, pan, breathing, parallax) so a single JPG becomes a lively avatar. Videos are looped with boomerang, ping-pong, reverse, or seamless crossfade.

Which format should I pick for Telegram stickers?

WebM with VP9 and alpha channel. The Telegram preset sets 512×512, ≤3 seconds, 30 FPS and ≤256 KB automatically. If the file would be too big, the tool drops the FPS or quality to fit.

How do I get a transparent background?

Turn on Remove background — the tool downloads a small on-device AI model and cuts out the subject. Then export as WebM, WebP or APNG to keep the alpha channel. GIF does not support true transparency and will fall back to a solid color.

What is the ping-pong loop?

Also known as boomerang: the clip plays forward, then backward, producing a perfectly seamless loop with no jump cut. It is the classic Instagram Boomerang style.

Will my avatar fit the Discord / WhatsApp / Slack limits?

Yes — each platform preset knows the exact size, format, duration and maximum file size. The estimated file size is shown live; if it is over the limit, the tool automatically reduces FPS or quality until it fits.
