Podcast editing online: tracks, loudness and chapters

An online editor for podcast production: each speaker's recording sits on its own track, a bad take is cut out of all of them at once, and the music ducks under the voice by itself. The editor levels the voices, shortens pauses, brings the episode to −16 LUFS and writes chapters straight into the MP3. Mixing runs in your browser: the preview and the file come from the same engine, so the downloaded episode sounds the way it did on the page.

How to edit a podcast

1
Add the recordings

Drop in the speakers' files, music and a jingle, or record your voice from the microphone. MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and Zoom video work — the sound is taken from the video.

2
Edit

Select the unwanted part on the timeline and press “Cut” — it leaves every track at once. Voice levels and music under speech are already set, and pauses are shortened with one button.

3
Build the episode

Place chapters, type in the title and cover art and press “Build episode”. The file comes out at the loudness platforms expect, with the chapters inside.
