Secret Santa Gift Exchange Draw

Choose “Pass the phone”, enter the participants and press “Draw names”. Pass the phone around: each person finds their name, confirms it's them, sees who they are giving a gift to and presses “Got it — hide”. Those who have looked get a check mark. Don't refresh the page until everyone has had a turn: after a refresh the draw has to be done again, so the browser asks before you leave.

Enter them in the “Who doesn't give to each other” field on one line: “Emma — Jake”. For a family of several people, list them all with a plus: “Olivia + Noah + Mia” — none of them draws another. The names must match the ones in the participant list; if one isn't found, the tool shows that line.

The exclusions have made it impossible: for example, someone has nobody left they are allowed to give to, or two of three participants cannot give to each other. Remove one of the excluded pairs or add a participant — and draw again.

Each card has a tab at the top with the giver's name; below it, who they give a gift to, the wish, budget and date, and under the dashed line a decorated half. Cut out the card and fold the bottom half up along the dashed line: the match ends up inside and the name on the tab stays outside. Hand out the cards by name; you can seal them with a sticker.

Choose “Pass the phone”: the organizer sees only their own match, like everyone else. With cards, the organizer sees them on screen while printing — to avoid peeking, print without opening the whole PDF and fold each card right away without reading it.

Three or more. There is no upper limit for an ordinary group: a class, a department or a big family — a few dozen people. The more exclusions in a small group, the fewer possible draws; if there are none, the tool will tell you.
