Frequently Asked Questions

Is the wheel really random?

Yes. Each spin picks the outcome first with a fair random generator weighted by slice size, then animates the wheel to land there. Heavier entries win proportionally more often, exactly as their weight suggests.

How do weighted entries work?

Add " *3" after an entry and it takes up three times the arc on the wheel, so it is three times as likely to be picked. Weights from 1 to 99 are supported, and the Results tab shows how the wins actually fell.

Can I share my wheel with others?

Yes. The Share button copies a link that encodes your entries, title, colours, and mode. Anyone who opens it sees the exact same wheel, ready to spin. You can also save the wheel as a PNG image.

What is the team splitter mode?

In team mode each spin assigns the winning name to the smallest team and removes it from the wheel. Keep spinning until everyone is placed into balanced teams, which appear under the wheel.

Can I run an elimination draw?

Turn on elimination mode in Settings. After each spin the winner leaves the wheel automatically, so you can draw prize after prize without editing the list by hand.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The wheel is touch-friendly — tap the spin button or flick the wheel directly, and the layout stacks to a single column. It runs entirely in your browser and works offline once loaded.
