Archive Maker — Create ZIP, 7z and TAR Online

Online tool for creating archives: pack any files and whole folders into ZIP, 7z, TAR.GZ, TAR.BZ2 or TAR.XZ. The archiver measures how well your particular files compress and suggests a level that fits, so you do not wait minutes for one percent. You can add an AES-256 password and split the finished archive into volumes.

How to create an archive

1
Add files and folders

Drop them onto the upload zone or pick them with the buttons. Folders come in whole, with their nesting intact.

2
Read the suggestion

The tool compresses a small sample of your files and shows a table: how big the archive will be and how long each option takes.

3
Choose format and level

ZIP opens everywhere, 7z compresses harder. Levels run from Store to Maximum.

4
Set a password and volumes

Turn on AES-256 encryption if you need it, hide file names in 7z, and split the archive into parts of any size.

5
Build and download

The finished archive is verified automatically and shown with its SHA-256 checksum — then just download it.
