Which archive formats are supported?

ZIP, RAR (including RAR5 and solid archives), 7z, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, ZST, LZ4, ISO, CAB, ARJ, CPIO, LZH and many more — over 70 in total.

Can it open password-protected archives?

Yes. Enter the password and the tool unlocks ZIP (ZipCrypto and AES), 7z and RAR archives, including those with encrypted file names.

How large an archive can I open?

On Chrome and Edge you can extract straight into a folder you pick, which keeps memory use low even for very large archives. On other browsers the limit depends on available device memory.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes — it runs in modern mobile browsers too. On iPhone and iPad the extracted files come back as a downloadable ZIP.

Can I extract just one file?

What about an archive inside an archive?
