Damaged PDF recovery

A PDF that stopped opening is almost never broken all the way through. What breaks is the pointer to the contents — a small service table at the end of the file — while the objects themselves stay where they were. They can be found by scanning and the index rebuilt from them, without touching the body of the document.

1
Load the document

Drop in the PDF that will not open. There is no size limit.

2
Read the analysis

The tool shows how many objects and pages it found, where the pointer is broken and what exactly it is about to fix.

3
Take the result

Download the rebuilt document. A separate button saves the text — available even when the file cannot be assembled.
