From the date of death it works out the 3rd, 9th and 40th day, the half-year and the anniversary — with the day of the week and a note if a day falls within Bright Week. In the Ukrainian tradition, counting starts from the next day. If unsure, ask your priest.
Enter the date of death to calculate the days of commemoration.
The day of death counts as the first day, so the 9th day is the eighth day after death and the 40th is the thirty-ninth.
